Have you ever been to Georgia, Louisiana or Mississippi? Even if you have not been there, I can imagine these states make you dream. Stef Lernous visited the area with his theatre group, Abattoir Fermé, and made a play about his roadtrip.
And... it's not what you, as a traditional tourist, would expect. But if you know Stef a little, you know that he would perceive the southern states completely different.
The performance brings the spectator in a hot swamp inhabited with eccentric residents, so different and at the same time 100% exchangable. Do they know each other? Do they see each other (as they are)? Are they free? Led by God, Nature or Producer?
Lots of questions. Not too many answers. The swamp with its 'strangers' suffocates and drowns you. Fortunately you can leave the swamp after the performance, the 'puppets' can't.
